My dad pulled out the old incubator last month and we decided to give it a try, My mom said we hatched out some baby’s before but since I don’t remember it, it doesn’t count.

I talked to a new friend that has some wonderful breeds of chickend and got a few eggs, Well after what seemed to be for ever (you know how slow 28 days go by when you are watching an egg just sit there) we finally got some movement.

Andy and I watched the first one hatch from start to finish. We could even hear the chick peeping befor the egg even had a crack in it. It was SO COOL!

Now we have these wonderful little baby’s Light Brahmas and one Golden Laced Wyandottes.

Now the incubator is full of Guinea eggs (from my Guineas)

My name is Dixie and this is the place where I share with the world about my adventures training wild mustangs and being a contender in the Western States Mustang Challenge. Please follow along as I update the progress on my mustang mare, Bertie and my nephew's mare, Gracie.
Hope to see you around, don't be a stranger. ;)
