Sorry, I have been gone for so long.
This has been a very busy year.
to recap.
The year started off with a mans truck running in to the side of my barn in Feb.
He refused to help pay for the damages so till it was all worked out I was with out a barn till Aug.
Then Andy and I where excepted to participate in the Western State Mustang Challenge in Sacramento CA.
We picked up the two mares and had a wonderful time training the girls. I am so proud of Andy for all he accomplished with his horse Gracie Which by the way they are doing wonderful.
Andy and Me in Sac.
We had our annual forth of July camping trip with my high school friends. There is a total of about 15 of us every year. We all head over to the ocean for about 5 days. we couth a lot of shark Mmmmm, cant wait till we go next year.
My Dad and I where excepted to be trainers in the first Extreme Mustang Yearling Makeover that was held in Reno NV. My dad did very well with his little filly Tess and I had an amazing little gelding Chester.
I have been working with Otter and he just amazes me very day with his learning ability’s.
I worked him yesterday on Side passing over to me when I am on the fence so I can get on him bareback he is great at it now.
See, I’m wimpy I just can not jump that good to get on him any other way.
Otter and Me
My other project has been Emmy a 2 year old Palomino mustang filly from Nut Mountain. I adopted her last year. She has been so very easy to work (I sure like the little ones) Andy put her first ride on her in the round pen and she was perfect. She is a small filly at about 13.3 but very well built. Emmy is now looking for her
new forever home.
Emmy ( she is a lot fatter and fuzzyer now)
My husband and I have been doing a lot of wood cutting so we can stay worm this year.
We burn around 6 cords of wood a year, that is a lot of wood cutting. He said we have plenty now,
thank goodness because I don’t want to stack one more price of wood till next year.
Now, it is that time of year and It is getting close to Christmas and yes MudRanch I already have my tree up. I Put it up last night it is 9 foot tall. We went way up the big mountain, played in some snow and found the perfect tree. For all of you that don’t know I’m a BIG Christmas decorator lots of lights.
So, That has been my year so far.
Everything has been good all except the barn thing but that did work out ok.
Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving.
