Everything is going good

The girls are moving right along.

Andy and Gracie took there first ride out of the arena

and they cruised around the property with no problems

Gracie was happy to get out and do something different.

When they where done ridding Andy took her to the horse trailer to unsaddle her and give her a good brushing.

Andy put her back in her stall and was very happy with the day.

Both the girls got a bath on Monday the weather was finally worm enough.

Gracie was a bit nervice at first but she got over it,

Bertie did great she just stood there and enjoyed every bit of it.

Everyone had better bring a tissue with them on the day of the auction

I have a filling there will be a lot of tears that day.

The Box

Today was Very windy so I didn’t do much.

I took Bertie out to the arena and introduced her to Misty my 26 year old Mustang. They had a blast running and getting to know each other.

There was a big box out in my barn that Bertie’s new blanket came in and the wind was blowing so hard I thought, why not! so I put in the arena with the girls.

Well, Bertie took an advantage of a new toy. 

After wearing it as a hat (sorry I didn’t get a pic of that, I was laughing to hard) and trying to clime in it she realized that the box was just to small for a bird of her size to nest in, 

 So she decided to throw it around and stomp on it till it was nice and flat. 

By then she must have decided that she isn’t really ready for a nest. so she walked away a very happy little bird and left her master piece in the middle of the arena.

An Athletic Horse

You know people say things like Wow! that horse is Athletic.

Well, I have decided that might not always be a good thing (well, not when you are firse ridding them).

When we picked up Gracie everyone said that little horse is very Athletic.

I think they where just trying to say in a nice way, that little horse can really BUCK. Andy has Gracie flexing and disengaging her hip and shoulders very nicely. BUT! This red head can flex her head to Andy’s knee disengage her hip and still manage to throw her but in the air. Now, I know with a little more work this horse is going to be amazing. But, in the mean time it sure makes Andy’s job a little more difficult.

Andy took his first ride.

Congratulations Andy, You and Gracie did Great!

To day Andy got on Gracie. She stood very quite and did great disengaging her hind end and she had a nice flex. Andy just got her comfortable with him getting on and off and moving just a bit. Tomorrow he is going to do it all over again. They look so cute Together, you know two little spit fire red heads ready for anything.

pics are coming, sorry it takes me so long to get them on here for you to see. The hole process is quite time consuming for me. I take the pic go to my moms house download them to her computer then e mail them to me.  I then have to e mail them back to myself on some weird little program to get them down sized and them down load them in my computer to be able to put them on my blog, My Gosh!! There has to be an easer way to do all this. But, I have a VERY fussy Computer.

Well, The good thing is I don’t take the pics of me and Bertie my best friend dose so she sizes them and sends them to me to put on my blog. Isn’t it great to have good friends that know there way around a computer and takes such wonderful pics.
