Bertie was introduced to the trailer yesterday and it went VERY well. She gave it a sniff looked in, looked at me as if to say well, if you what me to go in I guess it is OK, and in she went. I thought to my self wow! that was the easiest horse to teach to trailer. she backed out nice and calm and we walked around a bit, then back to the trailer, in she went. Bertie loaded up and backed out about 9 times and I called it good for the trailer for the day. I did more grooming and I brushed her tail (she didn’t even get mad this time) went for a walk and just played. My husband came out and split some wood so Bertie and I hung out with him for a bit.I watched a sexy Indiana work and Bertie nibbled on some grass (she’s not in to the sexy man thing).
Today Andy took Gracie to the horse trailer he walked in, she watched very closely then in she went ( WOW! another easy trailer loader) Gracie backed out nicely and they went in and out a few times then to the round pen the went. Andy worked with her on picking up her feet and flexing (she dose that very nicely). Both of the girls tie good and love going for walks.
